Spring Break Style Day # 2

It is spring break this week here in Lincoln. Yesterday the kids and I hung out here and picked up the house, watched TV, and then took Korby to get a much needed hair cut. We ventured out to the library after that, even though the winds were gusting at 45-50 mph and it was 70 degrees out. Weird weather day for sure! About 4:30 pm the Tornado Warning sirens were going off, thankfully nothing came of it...but still a weird weather day. By the end of the day I was ready to pull all of my hair out and check into the looney bin. That is a whole different story in itself!

Today was my mom's day off and she invited us out for lunch. Ok...truthfully, I called my mom this morning and asked "Whats for lunch today mom?" :o)

My mom made us her "famous nachos" and then we decided to go shopping. So my mom, my sister Shanae, Korby, and I took off on an adventure to Target. Can I just say how much I love that store! Anyway.... my sister took this picture of my mom, Korby, and I in the same exact sunglasses. My mom ended up buying them. I hope when I'm as old as she is I look that good. Everywhere we go NO ONE believes she is my mother! They all think we are sisters. So either I look really old (very possible some days) or she looks really young.

Our adventures to Target were alot of fun!

Korby and I set one goal this week to watch a movie every day. Yesterday we watched Jon and Kate + 8. Now we are off to watch BOLT. I needed this week of Spring Break. A break from reality is always a friend of mine. :)

  6. What a fun day!

I love Target and the closest one is about 35 minutes away from me so I don't get to go often. That's probably a good thing for our budget.

    You girls look great!
