Famous or not......

Ok probably not famous. :) Did you think we were displayed in a gallery of some sort? Darn I should have put that on here yesterday! That would have been a good April fools joke.I thought this was kind of a fun thing to do. I got this from this website. Go try it and pretend you are famous like me. On a side note...Ive recently become addicted to Twitter. If any of you are on it, let me know and I will follow you. My husband, Kiley, is teasing me because he has more followers than me. Its bugging me! So come follow me on Twitter so I can tease him. I added a side bar on my main page for you to check it out.

I recently participated in Erika's Spring Swap. I had alot of fun making "springy" things for my partner. I realized after I mailed the package, I forgot to take more pictures. These pictures are of the fun greeting cards that I made for my partner. I did a set of 12 with matching envelopes. I thought they turned out cute. I don't know about you but I'm ALWAYS looking for cards to send notes on. Of course I had to send her a corn bag. I know...your surprised right? Those things are great for all the aches and pains of spring cleaning, or just from life itself. I threw in a few other fun things too, and a yummy recipe for Taffy Apple Pizza. I will add that in my comment section for you to try at home......it is so yummy.

  1. Taffy Apple Pizza
1-10 oz. package of refrigerated sugar cookie dough

1 pk 8oz cream cheese softened

    1/4 cup Creamy peanut butter

    1/2 cup Brown sugar

    1/2 tsp Vanilla

    2 med Granny smith apples

    1 cup Lemon lime soda

    Cinnamon

1/4 cup Caramel ice cream topping

    1/2 cup Chopped peanuts

Preheat oven to 350° F. Shape cookie dough into a ball. Place dough in center of pizza pan; flatten slightly with palm of hand. Roll dough out to 14" circle, about a 1/4" thick. Bake 16-18 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Carefully loosen cookie from sheet with serrated knife; cool completely.

Combine cream cheese, brown sugar, peanut butter and vanilla; mix well. Spread mixture evenly over top of cookie.

Arrange apples evenly over cream cheese mixture; sprinkle with cinnamon.

To heat caramel topping, microwave on HIGH 30-45 sec or until warm; drizzle over apples. Sprinkle nuts on top.

NOTES : Dip apples in lemon-lime soda to prevent them from turning brown.
