Concert in the Park right here in Lincoln NE

Tonight we decided to head out to a local park and enjoy a free concert put on by the Lincoln Municipal Band . I think a lot of other people here in town decided to go as well. Look at that crowd! It is the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We took sandwiches and sat on the blanket and listened to them play music. Korby played at the park, Kiley and I snuggled on our blanket.

The weather here has been outstanding. I have had my A/C off all this week. This is unheard of in Lincoln NE in July.

Kiley and I had a nice relaxing evening. At the park on a blanket there is nothing else to do but relax, take in all the sounds, snuggle a little, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Its one of my favorite places to be.

On a different note......I did add the second coat of paint to my painted wine vase bottle . The books says to use tempera paint. I personally don't think they tried it. The paint is not covering very well over the 1st coat, and its been drying for days. I will look at it in the morning, either way I promise you will get to see.

    Kash, I drink decaf just because I am nursing my baby, don't want to get him all juiced up... hehehe

    this looks fun. you and kiley look cute. jay and i try to take the kids to the park at least once a week. its nice to go somewhere where you have nothing to do. at home i can always find things needing my attention.

    tonight, we are having record lows:70 degrees!! completely unheard of for florida summertime. im not complaining.

    i was wondering about the vase. cant wait to see the outcome.
