I stumbled across several bags of yarn, most were marked $4-$6 per bag. These vibrant beauties were located towards the bottom and marked $1.50 per bag. As you can tell by the labels these are vintage, not really sure from when. But back in the day they were 39 cents each. Rug yarn, guaranteed washable, 70 yards per skein. The label says use it for rugs, potholders, hats, bags, toys, and chairpads. You cant get ANYTHING in 2009 for 39 cents. I walked away with 12 skeins of yarn for $3.oo!
I was excited, to say the least. Ive mentioned my goal before of making Christmas gifts this year. My plan is to have something handmade for everyone. This yarn might help me achieve that goal. Then again, I might just stare at it and not use it at all. :0)
