This is one of my favorite times of the year.
So far this weekend I have:
listened to Christmas music old & new
enjoyed a Peppermint mochas from Starbucks
drove around with Kiley to look at Christmas lights
Stopped by to see Santa, he said I have been good this year.
Some Christmas traditions we share with our kids:
Every year we buy them one new ornament each. This is the only gift they open on Christmas Eve. My hope is that someday they will have their own tree to hang them on.
We spend Christmas day at home, just the 4 of us. We hang out and enjoy the day as a family.
Last year we started a new tradition, where we we go with Aunt Gayle and see a movie at Midnight. The kids love it!

i love your traditions. i like how even though you have tons of family around, on christmas its just the four of you.
ReplyDeleteTammie- That is our favorite part! When the kids were younger, we were running EVERYWHERE. Its great to be lazy and enjoy the day.
