I came up with a great idea for hand warmers for our daughter.
She walks to school in the morning and its been extremely cold here.
Cut a piece of 100% cotton fabric 4x8.
Fold fabrics in half and sew on the outside of the fabric all around the edge of the square.
Leave a small hole to fill with corn.
Turn fabric so that the printed side is out.
Fill 1/2 of the bag with WHOLE corn.
Sew the hole on the outside of the cornbag.
Heat for 35-40 seconds.
Your cold hands will thank you for these handwarmers. They also work great for earaches. What other ways can you think of to use them?

ooh very clever. i would shove them in my socks. the cold weather we get here isnt that exciting but my toes are almost always cold.
ReplyDeleteTammie- My toes are freezing all the time, yet I REFUSE to wear socks. It makes me feel like Im suffocating. I have lots of slippers. :D
ReplyDeleteLovely!!!! I love that idea!!!! specially for the earache!
ReplyDeletegreat idea! i bet they are soooo warm! :)
ReplyDeleteCT- they came in handy last wk for Korby's earache. She was miserable, but all better now. :)
ReplyDeleteErika- they are perfect for this cold weather. :)
