How To Make a Nesting Station for Your Neighborhood Birds

This is a fun and easy way to celebrate Spring.

Thanks to Erika for the idea.

We are in day #1 of Spring Break.

The weather is beautiful!

Follow the steps & pictures to make your very own nesting station.

We used:

pine needles, dry leaves, pine cones, & dry grass

torn up fabric 5"-6" long

left over poly-fill

paper from the paper shredder

yarn strands 4" 6" 8"

Thanks to my neighbor, we have a nice basket to use. Thanks Mae!!

We lined the bottom with cardboard so everything does not fall out.

Can you tell Korby is enjoying Spring Break? :)

Here is our finished nesting station.

Everything is all mixed up.

We used the pine cones as a weight to hold everything in place when its windy.

Its ready for all of the fun birds that come around this time of year.

I'm hoping that we will soon start seeing some of this in our neighborhood.

Get out there & enjoy the Spring weather.
