Oh wow! two years? I'm glad you took the plunge! It's been great getting to know you! :D
ReplyDeleteoh shoot! I forgot to tell you why I love making cards! When I was little, I always loved the smell of paper supplies, and would sometimes buy some colorful papers and make my own notes and cards, just to get to play with them! It also gives a more personal touch to everything, and I like that!
ReplyDeleteI just tweeted about the giveaway! ( cause I already had left a comment without one of the parameters, I guess this makes it even?)
AAAND I just "Liked" At the blue barn in facebook!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about scrapbooking is the pretty paper!! So inspiring!
Happy Blog-O-Versary!
ReplyDeleteI really love to scrapbook but it takes up too much time (especially when you have grabby hands pulling at everything you're doing) so card making is like that but on a smaller scale that I can handle right now. I like being able to make a card that is unique and says something about the receiver.

I like making things from hand because it makes the gift/card/present more special and meaningful. I try to incorporate words, phrases, or pictures into the cards I make that mean something in the relationship I have with the person I'm making it for. While the aisles at Target always have a bunch of cute cards, I'll always be one to make my own. :D
ReplyDeleteI love making my own cards because I find store bought cards so impersonal! It means so much more to give a handmade card...the time and effort and the message inside, and it's prettier as well! I also can express myself and be creative with it :)
ReplyDeleteI'm following At The Blue Barn Blog!

ReplyDeleteWE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ENTRIES ON THIS GIVEAWAY. Thanks!
