Valentine's Day Pillow Project

I don't know if you are like me, but I save all my fabric scraps.
You never know when you need them, right?

I decided to make these pillows.
This was just a random idea that I came up with.

I traced different sized hearts onto fabric and cut them out.
Then I used embroidery floss and hand stitched them onto muslin material.
I like the look of the muslin for these pillows.

I lightly wrote with pencil LOVE and XOXO.
Then hand stitched those on with the embroidery floss.

After that I turned the fabric inside out.
I used my sewing machine to stitch up the sides.
I left one 5 inch spot open, so I could turn the pillow.
I used polyfil to stuff the inside.

I LOVE the way they turned out.
This is an inexpensive project you can make in no time at all.
