Tree of Life Tattoo

I have always wanted to get a tattoo.

What do you put on your body that will be there forever?

This has been the thought in my head for awhile now.

When my 11 yr old daughter Korby heard that I had finally decided on a tattoo,

Her response was:
"Mom, when your 90 yrs old in the nursing home, how are you going to feel with a saggy tree on your ankle?"

Doesn't my daughter realize that I am going to live with her when I'm that old.

Note to self: work on the girl to let me live with her when I'm old. :)

So, anyway.....

After careful thought, I decided on a tree.

A tree to me represents some very important things:

Strength, Balance, & Life

These are things I'm working on every single day in my own life.

This tree was meant to be on me.

I absolutely love it!

Do you have any tattoos?

If so, do they have a meaning or just for fun?

Oh wait...Before you go...

Tammie from Irregular Tammie recently interviewed me.

Sarah from Yes Teacher also interviewed me.

Both of them are having giveaways from my Etsy Shop right now.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Love the new tattoo, and love the symbolism behind it. Perfect choice. =)

I have a rose on my ankle, similar to my mother's. She's one of my best friends and I love that we share it, although I'm always pondering getting a second tattoo, one that's unique to me. Just need to wait for inspiration to strike!
