1.Describe yourself in 5 words.
Ambitious, Motivated, Outgoing, Perfectionist, Passionate
2. If we came to your house today, where would we find a bar of MaVita soap at?
Today you would find Citrus Spice in the bathroom, Oatmeal & Honey, Twisted Berry & Melon fresh in my daughter's bathroom (she loves variety) & Lemongrass in the kitchen.
3.Tell us about what made you decide to start making soap.
A couple years ago my daughter had her first outbreak of eczema. Her back was covered in it so heavily the dermatologist had to do a biopsy to confirm what it was. She struggled with horribly itchy skin, trying every over the counter and prescription remedy to keep it under control. As any mother would do I wanted to find away to help alleviate the terrible "itchies" she was suffering from with eczema. After doing some research I found that most skin irritations begin in the shower. Commercial soaps have so many additives that contribute to the problem. I decided to make my own soap so that I could have better control over what was being put on her skin. Goat milk made sense to add to the soap since it naturally moisturizes the skin and contains beneficial proteins and vitamins. I made batch after batch trying to make the perfect blend until one day she came out of the bathroom after a shower and announced "This is the best soap in the world!" Her skin no longer itches and her eczema is naturally under control. After seeing what it has done for her, and for myself, I wanted everyone to use the soap!

4. What are you looking forward to doing in the spring time?
I'm a runner. I really look forward to Spring, so I can get off the "dreadmill" & into the fresh air & natural scenery.
