The kids are out of school this week for Fall Break. We are taking it easy. My daughter Korby is very creative. Do you see this jerky bucket full of little papers? While she reused it and it is know her official "Sign Language" bucket. She put a word, letter, or number on each sheet of paper. Then we get to pick one out and she tells us whatever the sign is. Isn't that cool? The elementary school that she goes to here in Lincoln is the only one for hearing impaired children. The kids learn alot of sign language! She has been fascinated with it since kindergarten. This week we are hanging out, taking it easy, this is definitely my kind of week!!
Today its cold outside. Yes, fall is finally here. I don't like being cold! So I decided to bake cookies, that way we could turn on the oven. Butterscotch/Chocolate chip cookies to be exact. They are soo yummy. I don't make cookies to often, because they are always gone in a flash! My favorite thing to bake is bread. I think maybe we will have to stop at the store this afternoon and pick up some pumpkin in a can and make some bread tomorrow. Make sure and check back on Thursday......its my birthday....so I will have my 1st give away!
