Saturday night happenings........

There is nothing better than a green facial mask on a Saturday night. Walgreens sells it for $1.99, its worth it people! I did have an opportunity to go out tonight with some friends, but decided to stay inside where its warm. Nebraska weather is OFFICIALLY insane. 60 degree weather a few days ago, 5 inches of snow yesterday, 60 degree weather again towards the end of the week! So my point is....I stayed in doors today and did not accomplish much. It was well needed and wonderful. I sat around alot in a blanket, took an afternoon nap, watched the kids play WiFit, and didn't pick up anything around the house. :)
Korby and I have these matching blue blankets. I originally bought them from a friend for Korby's bunk bed, but soon realized I needed one for me. We like laying around....
I'm knitting her a blue scarf right now, using the knit 2, pearl 2 ribbed stitch pattern. Have I mentioned how much I love knitting?? Its so fun and relaxing! Sometimes I just have to remind myself to stop to go do things around the house. So here we lay, with our favorite blankets, just hanging out. I hope when she is 13 she still wants to hang out with me.
Speaking of 13 yr olds. The punishment for Kalen mentioned in the previous post is going quite well. His attitude has changed a little around here. Thanks for all the kind and reassuring words. He of course STILL wants the last word in everything. I still have to remind myself that I don't always need the last word! :)

    It's nice to hang out indoors when it's cold outside, specially when you have your loved ones around.

    I'm at home too, I just finished eating some ice cream, I've been craving it lately... hehehe

    i need a "laying around the house" craft project---although i love sitting at my sewing machine, it's certainly not the same as laying under covers. :)

    i need to bookmark kileys flickr page...the last time i was there i enjoyed it but then forgot to go back.
