Everything is starting to wind down due to the fact that summer is on its way. The kids have 16 days of school left and we will officially have our "Summer Break". Fortunately, we do not have alot planned, which is fine with me. I'm still adjusting to the new medicine from my doctor and trying to get back into the routine of things.Kalen & I are finishing up home school. Our goal is to be done by May 22nd. All of my favorite TV shows are having the Season Finale......LOST, Hell's Kitchen, 1/2 hour sitcoms Monday night on CBS, just to name a few.
I'm having trouble blogging tonight, I just feel like everything I'm saying is so boring and repetitive. Its cold, wet, and humid here today. My arms are sticking to the desk as I type this. I cant stand humid weather.
Yesterday was my last PTO get together. This has been weighing heavy on my shoulders. After being sick I stepped back to see where I needed to make some changes. PTO was at the top of my list. So after careful thought & lots of talking to Kiley, I decided to let the other Board members know that I would be retiring. I know its the right thing for me at this point, but I'm feeling kinda bad about it. I absolutely LOVE being there to help out Teachers and seeing all the kiddos. I know, I know, I can still do some of that, right? :)
My mom & I went fabric shopping a few days ago. She wants new curtains for their camper. The previous curtains look like a boxer short print! It was time for something new. After visiting 3 stores, we found this print. Although this camper will probably only see some great camping spots here in Nebraska, we thought this fabric was fun & the right fit for my parents camper. So now I have a project to fit into to my hectic schedule. :)
