Knitting a Scarf and My Kids

Ive mentioned before that my goal this year is to hand make something for everyone on our Christmas list. I have lots of beautiful yarn, so I decided to start out with making this scarf. This is a really easy scarf to knit, that looks gorgeous when you are finished.

I'm using Yarn Bee Luscious yarn. It is some of the softest yarn I have ever touched. I am using size 8 knitting needles. You CO 12 and just keep going, knitting 12 in every row until you reach the desired length. I'm going to make it long. Ive noticed that long and skinny scarves are the latest trend for the fall.

So if you are new to knitting or a pro make one of these scarves. And if you are like some of my friends that don't know how to knit, add this to your Christmas list.
On another note, my kids are growing up way to fast.
Kiley took this during our vacation.
I love this picture for so many reasons.
I'm so proud to say these kids are mine.
They are not fighting in this picture, which is a miracle in itself.
They both have birthdays this week. I cant believe our kids will be 14 and 10.
Enjoy Your Friday!

Tammie- at the end of the row you switch your sticks from one hand to the other and do the next row. I know you can do it!!
