At 8:30 pm tonight we shut off all of our lights for Earth Hour.
We managed to find every candle in our house.
We brought out:
Monolopy
popcorn
water for some
wine for others
& had a lot of laughs.
This was our small part in giving back to our Earth.....
what it gives to us every day.
Personally, we hate being manipulated by do gooder tree huggers. We turned on virtually EVERY light and appliance in the house for the hour. Enjoyed immensely burning up all those dead dinosaurs.

ReplyDeletei didnt do earth hour last night. my daughter was still awake and i just didnt have the energy to get it all together. but maybe another night soon. there is no reason it has to be a specific night.
but yeah, from one do gooder tree hugger to another, you done good!
(btw: when did doing good become such a bad thing? sheesh.)
it looks like your family had a blast! my hubby had to work and the big kids are gone for the week so it was just harper, esme and i :)
