1. What inspired you to start your business?

I was completely inspired by the support of my family & friends. I wouldn't have even thought of starting a business if it weren't for them. I've been taking photographs & crafting nearly my whole life & I love to learn new techniques all the time. I would make a gift for someone or something for the kids room & people would say "You made this? You could totally sell this!" (You gotta love great friends!) I've been a stay at home many for many years, but now the kids are in school full time.This sudden "freedom" left me lots of choices & I decided to take a plunge on starting a business that serves God (through my donations) & that focuses on what I love to do- creating beautiful things that make me happy. Hopefully they make other people happy too. 2.Please give me 5 words that describe yourself.

Joyful. Creative. Inquisitive. Caring. Faithful.

3.What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now?

Ha! I'm so old school I don't even have an ipod. I think of it as being 'retro", but my daughter thinks of it as uncool. Anyway random songs you would hear would be from TobyMac, Francesca Battistelli, & The Shrek soundtrack (no joke theres some great songs on there) :)

4.How did you decide on your Etsy Shop name?

Oh, this one was hard. I had the perfect shop name all picked out, I even had a logo for it. I was ready to go! Then I started to open my Etsy account and my lovely, perfect, name was already taken. By a closed shop, no less! So I went back to the drawing board & eventually came up with a name that reflected my fascination with the beauty of the natural world- Natural Charm Photography. This name doesn't have a logo, but I still like it.

1.What inspired you to start your business?

Ever since planning my own wedding two years ago, I’ve fallen in love with the planning process of weddings! So when I decided to create a new Etsy shop, I couldn't’t think of any better place to start than to help brides make their wedding day as special & unique as they are. I’d been making flowers for a while, & loved the idea of challenging myself to make gorgeous, one-of-a-kind wedding sets & bouquets to tempt any bride on any budget. Working retail for over ten years has also helped me in my desire to provide excellent customer service as well, & I love when I get the chance to help someone through the stages of “I don’t know where to start…”, “They are TYPES of bouquets?!?” & the general feeling of being overwhelmed (which I still remember all too well from my days of being a prospective bride) to helping them find exactly what they need, and better yet, doing it within their budget!

2.Please give me 5 words that describe you.

Creative. Imaginative. Quiet. Helpful. Friendly.

3.What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now?

My music is very eclectic… You might hear anything from groups like Fire Flight or Evanescence to genres like Broadway & Movie Soundtracks to even various Classical or Country music hits. I’m also a HUGE fan of Josh Groban! 4.How did you decide on your Etsy shop name?

Finding the right name was extremely difficult for me. Most of the list of names I’d first came up with were already taken, so eventually I just sat down & thought about my shop, what I wanted to sell, & what I'd hope to sell in the future. Once I’d created a list of words and phrases that emphasized those thoughts, I wrote out a list of names until I finally found the perfect one. And so My Ever After was born! I wanted a fairytale theme, because what little girl (or even grown woman!) doesn’t dream of her Prince Charming and living happily ever after? I also liked MY ever after, because let’s face it, it’s the BRIDE’S DAY. The premise behind my shop is creating flowers that fit your ideal dreams for what you want your wedding to look like, & providing it for you with minimal stress to you.
