Stupid Devil Cookies, Sock Knitting, and More

I'm on week 6 of Weight Watchers.

There are some major changes going on in our house.

We traded fruits & veggies for snacky crap.

I'm drinking lots of water & tracking EVERY little bite that goes in my mouth.

So far, as of yesterday, I'm down 12.4 lbs. This is exciting for me!

Things I'm missing are:

*Chinese food

*chocolate

*sharp cheddar cheese & crackers

I admit, I asked Korby to smell her cheese the other evening.

She kindly let me, & then went about enjoying her snack.

I got super crabby when the Girl Scout cookies, that I ordered 6 or 7 wks ago, showed up.

I refer to them as stupid Devil Cookies.

But Ive resisted all temptations......and not had any of these.

And yes I'm still cussing at the unopened boxes each time I walk in the kitchen.

On another note, sock knitting is going well.

Yes, I started a class, what seems like an eternity ago, but its fun & I'm loving it!

Socks take time people.

Someone asked me "Why not just go buy yourself a pair instead of go through all that trouble?"

I cant wait to wear them, even if it is summer time when I finish a pair. :)

Happy Thursday!

  3. Congrats! That's exciting to see your hard work pay off.
But you don't have to give up Chinese entirely. I would think you could still do stir fry veggies with lean meat and a healthy sauce. Maybe even brown rice?
