Quilt Squared Greeting Cards

On our last visit to the local library I picked up this book.

It is FULL of fun applique projects.

I'm taking part in Amy's Scrap Stash Challenge this summer.

So, I decided to take on a project from this book.

These Quilt Squared Cards are a great way to use up your fabric stash.

Simply cut 1 inch squares of random pieces of fabric.

Glue them onto your card in whatever order you choose.

Sew a line done each row, securing the squares in place.

Trim off any excess thread.

You just made a quilt squared card!

I had fun using different sewing stitches & thread.

I got to use up some fun fabric scraps & I now have a new set of cards to use.

A girl can never have enough greeting cards.

Especially the quilt square kind.

Priddy Creations will be hosting this Scrap Stast Challenge all summer.

Come join us!
