Applesauce Cupcakes

My kids are off of school this week for Fall break.

Korby had a sleepover last night & wanted to bake with her friend.

According to my daughter they ALWAYS get to bake at her friend's house. LOL

We were at the store & picked out the low fat cake mix.

Instead of using oil, we used applesauce.
I told myself I was going to let the girls do this by themselves.

Of course I took pictures to blog & offered the occasional hand.

They did a really good job!

And who doesn't enjoy licking the beater at the end of mixing?

They really should include that on the back of the box in the instructions.

We bought fat free cool whip to top them with once they are cooled.

They smell and look wonderful.

Now, to keep Mom away from the cupcakes. :)
