Its an exciting part of my day.
Don't ask me why, because I have no idea.
Nothing good ever comes.
Maybe a sample or 2 here and there.
Definitely junk & bills. you can always count on those.
Until Christmas time comes.
I love getting cards in the mail.
So many people I know have switched to emailing.
I love to read people's family letters.
Or see how much their kids have grown from last year.
I truly look forward to getting them.
I like to set the cards right in the middle of my Christmas decor.I think it adds a little pizazz.
Some people have the special card hanger.
I'm to cheap to buy one & to lazy to make one.
Besides, I think that they are cute spread out everywhere.
So if you are thinking that no one sends cards anymore.....Or that maybe no one appreciates them.......
I'm here to tell you that you should send them, they are appreciated.

I also love getting Christmas cards, pictures, and letters. I make sure to send them, too. To display ours, I use clothespins and pin them to the living room curtains. Cheap and no assembly required. I love the idea of scattering them around though.

ReplyDeletei love getting them too and i display them in amongst all my thrifted holiday decorations. i think it brings a personal touch to the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteWe still give and receive a fair number of Christmas cards. I love getting them but no one seems to write anything anymore so they're just cards with signatures! Ours are displayed on a string with little decorated clothespins to hold them.
