1.What inspired you to start your business?
My husband died and I had been gifted an urn for his ashes from Regretsy; here is a link to the story http://www.regretsy.com/2010/09/17/for-tim/ We used to make candles and soap together with my sister and sell them downtown and at the local mall. I had never heard of etsy until he died and I discovered it through Regretsy. I saw all the funny and awful handmade things on that site and decided to try selling mine.
2.Please give me 5 words that describe you.
Creative, friendly, eccentric, cheerful, inquisitive

3.What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now?
Well, honestly, I don't have an ipod, but I do listen to the Eurodance station on internet radio and my favorite Tori Amos CD, Under The Pink.


4.How did you decide on your Etsy shop name?
I like to play World of Warcraft and Mylana was my first character that I used to play with my husband when we first started out. Initially, I had wanted to name my store with some variation of my real name (Clare) but I couldn't find anything available, so I was thinking about my husband and how much fun we had playing and I chose Mylana.

1.What inspired you to start your business?
What inspired me was with my husband at work in the Airforce. My mother in law pushed me to have my own thing & do my work that before I just made and kept. My mom was a jewelry maker growing up & I loved being part of it.

2.Please give me 5 words that describe you.
creative, messy, unique, bossy, loving

3.What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now?
Oh my thing at the moment is Adele and Mumford and sons. Sooo lovely.
4.How did you decide on your Etsy shop name?
Oliver is my 6 month old son's name & Wave was my Great grandmother's name passed down to me. Wave used to be my trademark so I added Oliver. Oliverwave:)
