1.What inspired you to start your business?

I was inspired to start my business by my sister. She designed a pair f earrings that I just fell in love with. I have always loved designing and being creative but until that moment had never thought about designing jewelry. We decided to go into business together and sell our jewelry designs. She has since stopped designing but my passion for jewelry design has grown stronger. I just love hearing how people get compliments from all sorts of people when they wear my jewelry. In just the few short months I have been designing I have gone from being an unknown designer to being the one people come to for all of their jewelry needs. 2.Please give me 5 words that describe you. Wow five words that describe me. That is not a simple task, there's so much to my personality it's hard to choose just five. I am loyal, caring, loving, honest, and genuine. Well maybe it wasn't so hard to come up with five. I'm a stay at home mom/full time student who has a passion for helping others feel good about themselves. I feel that my jewelry designs allow others to feel good about themselves in any situation.

3.What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now?

Hmmmm what would you hear on my Ipod right now. Well it would definitely be country or gospel. I love listening to soothing music and music that I can dance to. My current fave is Carrie Underwood. She has such a beautiful voice and is always tossing something new into her style. If I'm not listening to Carrie Underwood I'm listening to something upbeat and fun to dance to.

4.How did you decide on your Etsy shop name?

My sister & I decided on our Etsy shop name (sisterlycreationz) because we wanted something that had to do with the both of our styles. Sisterly obviously came from us being sisters. Creationz came from our unique style & way of creating from pictures we see in our minds rather than everywhere else. We take an idea we have for a unique piece of jewelry and turn it into a work of art. I have a little motto that I like to use with my jewelry, "Jewelry is not an accessory it's a statement". I think this motto describes my personality shared in my jewelry perfectly.

1.What inspired you to start your business?

This opening a store on Etsy was a no-brainer, & really, I should've done it sooner. Not only have I been shopping & buying vintage clothing for that past twenty years (yikes!) but I had a store on Ebay. I wasn't happy there. They were too big; too greedy. Etsy appeals to such a better crowd, & I couldn't be happier with the way they run their company over us shop owners. I am a stay at home mom & freelance writer, i.e. makes very little income. So, Etsy was a perfect option. I love it!

2.Please give me 5 words that describe yourself.

Passionate, Introverted, Wordsmith, Perfectionist 3.What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now? Wow, this is kind of embarrassing. I'm extremely eclectic in my tastes, so I would have a mix of A-Ha (yes, they are from the 80s), Enigma (from the 90s) Michael Jackson (super star forever) and Sabrina Gomez (today's super star).

4.How did you decide on your Etsy Shop name?

Perennial is a weird word. It's used to describe plants that come back year after year, or something or someone with the talent to return continually. With a vintage store, that's exactly what I'm doing. Bringing back items from years ago, to be worn and enjoyed today. Hence the title : The Perennial Past
