1. What inspired you to start your business?

What inspired me to start my own business was the fact that I wanted that pipe dream of being able to stay home with my kids and still generate some income. When it comes to those three (my kids) I'm the biggest baby, I'm the one that gets separation anxiety, I can't tell you how many teachers have looked at me on the first day of school and told me "It looks like they are doing just fine...you can leave now." For me this has been a huge blessing, I'm able to be home with my three favorite people in the world and I can create whenever I want. 2. Please give me 5 words that describe you.

Spontaneous, Outdoorsy but also very Girly, Artistic ADD...I just love all of it, painting, photography, jewelry, knitting... the list goes on and on, and last but surely not least Evolving, I like to think that if I keep my mind and heart open to new and different things my art will follow suit. I feel that as an artist it's important not to get stuck in one groove, that I keep evolving and improving with the times.

3. What would we hear if we turned on your Ipod right now?

Oh my, well I guess you can say I am all over the spectrum when it comes to music as well. Let's see, right now you would hear anything from Ella Fitzgerald to Dave Matthews, from B.O.B. to George Straight. The last song I downloaded...which was yesterday was Get Away Car by Thompson Square.

4. How did you decide on your Etsy shop name?

I decided on my Etsy shop name by trial and error. It wasn't my first choice, that was already taken, or my 2nd or 3rd. So I figured I have a lot of Steampunk items because I use the metal from antique watch parts, my work is kind of funky/quirky so I tried Steampunk Funk and it happened to be not taken so I snatched it up. It's all good, life is trial and error.

4.How did you decide on your Etsy shop name?

It is a variation on what people always say when they see my items. They say that it is very creative so it became the name of my shop as a reflection of my art.
