My craft corner in the basement is a disaster! I started out good. I jut got busy during Christmas time and well, its never been picked up since. I see all of these really cute ideas that some of my favorite blogs have. So I decided the way to tackle this mess is 10 mins at a time per day. The 1st day I sat there in a daze for about 5 mins, so in all it was about 20 mins total. One idea that I found was to cut up cereal boxes, cover then in some sort of paper, and then have fabulous paper holders. Just so you know these photos were taken in the dining room, because lets face it, my craft corner in the basement is scary! :o)
These are the cereal boxes after I was done. Fabulous colored boxes to hold misc paper. Not only am I reusing, but saving some $$$ too. So as soon as I clear a spot on one of my tables, I will have to move these down to the Craft Corner. My biggest problem is parting with things. If you know me at all right now you are probably saying "WHAT"????? I am the queen of recycling, freecycling, or giving it away. If we are done with it, lets find it a new home where someone else can love it now. But anything to do with crafts.....that's a different story. I just cant! So that is my big issue with the corner in the basement. If my husband reads this he will laugh when he sees me calling it my craft corner. :o) 10 mins a day is all this girl can handle! Wish me luck.
