Attempting to sew a new handbag

I have made quite a few of these and decided it was time to move on to a new handbag. I love fabric! I love all the colors and patterns and prints that you can find, but when it comes to cutting fabric......I get nervous! What if I mess it up or cut it wrong? Anyone else have this issue???

Recently, artsycraftybabe offered this FREE pattern, so I printed it out for my own use. And then it sat there on our desk for a week or so. And now, tonight Ive decided to tackle this pattern

It cant be that hard.......right?? New things make me nervous sometimes. We are taking a vacation/holiday soon and I need a new bag to carry along with me.

Lets face it people, I just need to get outta Dodge! If you could see that wall over there to the left of me, you would see my calendar. The calendar that is completely full in August. Don't look for me in August, I will be running kids here and there, planning b-day parties, taking Kor to see an Orthodontist, taking kids back to school shopping, having my son start high school & the list goes on.

Now do you see why its so important to cut out this pattern and sew a new bag??? LOL I'm going to go work on it for a little while tonight. I promise if and when it turns out, I will blog about it. :0)

It will be 2 or 3 more entries until my 100th blog. Guess what that means to you? A giveaway!! I'm thinking some fabric...but you will have to wait and see.
