Future Friendly: 5 Easy Recycle Ideas You Can Today

Here are 5 EASY ways that you can start recycling today.

1. Reusable Grocery Bags-
These are easy to store, cute, can hold a lot more than a regular sack, & sometimes offered for FREE at your local stores. I keep mine bagged up in the trunk, that way they are always with me.

2. Give a Friend a Magazine-

I have been very lucky to get several magazine subscriptions this year. I LOVE reading all the great ideas. When I'm done, I pass them on to neighbors & friends. That way more than one person gets to read them. My Grandma used to take hers to the local laundry mat & leave them on the table. How awesome would that be to pick up a new magazine on the dreaded laundry mat day?

3.Break Bread With the Animals-

Don't throw out that stale bread or the heels of the loaf. Keep it out of the garbage! There are all kinds of cute little critters out & about right now for Spring. We always have a small sack of bread that we tear up & throw out in the yard. Korby & I spotted 2 Blue Jays & a Cardinal this morning on the back fence. Isn't this squirrel cute? He told me him & his friends appreciate your left over bread. :)

4. Create Something New-
There are thousands of fun projects all over the Internet on how to reuse something. Be creative.
Think about another way to use that thing before you toss it out. This Wine Cork Coaster is a great project to make.

5. Borrow A Book- Instead of buying that book that you have been wanting to read, drive to your local library & check it out. I can't begin to tell you all the awesome books they have available for you. The great part is that you don't have a bunch of finished books hanging out at home collecting dust.

If you do enjoy buying books arrange a book swap with a friend. There is no reason for both of you to go buy the same book. Each of you pick up your own book & swap them when you are finished.

I would challenge you to pick one or two of these ideas to try out this weekend.
